Honey Pot Active Fire Company #6 of Nanticoke
Located in Nanticoke, The Honey Pot Active Fire Company # 6 was established in 1965. Behind the direction of the first fire chief Theodore Zdziarski and the dedicated residents, who purchesed the current FWD from Kovatch Fire Equipment(Now KME) in 1964. the organization evolved from the old civil defense systems during WWII and serves the City of Nanticoke. The company has thrived for over 40 years, as part of the Nanticoke Fire Department (station 158). Engine 6 serves as first response for the Honey Pot section (sector 6) and 2nd due response into the city.Although public safety is the main priority, the company also supports various community events and organizations. The Honey Pot Active Fire Company is pleased to announce our new membership drive. With the increase of activity in our organization, we are looking for new members. Our organization is both family and community oriented. We are looking for members between the ages of 14-45, who reside in the city of Nanticoke and have a clean criminal record. We are also looking for social members. There is no age limit or occupancy requirements for social members, but you must have a clean criminal record. Come be a part of a team!! A team that not only provides emergency services, but also is involved with all sorts of community affairs.
